Those familiar with the Mavic series will notice a few updates to the appearance. The Mavic 2 comes in a matte gray color that’s slightly lighter than the classic Mavic Pro. The shape has also undergone a subtle update, with a more aerodynamic body and rounded edges.
The Mavic 2 has infrared sensors on all six sides of the airframe, allowing users to fly safely in tricky shooting environments. Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing directions include left/right, up/down, and forward/backward. Users should note that sensing for left/right directions is only available in ActiveTrack or Tripod mode. *
