With its Zero-D design and an impressive 122° field of view, this lens delivers unrivalled edge-to-edge sharpness across extensive scenes. The bright f/2.8 aperture enables stunning background separation and smooth bokeh, whilst the f/22 minimum aperture guarantees maximum detail. The 14-blade diaphragm creates a softer, more nuanced sun-star effect when shooting into bright light sources, adding a refined artistic touch. Perfectly suited to Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras, this lens is compact with a 3 x 3" form factor and weighs a mere 0.45 kg, making it perfect for handheld shooting, gimbals, or drone use. It boasts a manual focus ring with a close minimum focusing distance of 5.5" to offer versatility in a variety of shooting scenarios. The sophisticated optical construction comprises 16 elements in 9 groups, including 2 aspherical and 4 low-dispersion elements to minimise aberrations and ensure crisp, realistic image quality. A built-in 72mm front filter thread allows for easy attachment of filters, providing enhanced creative control in the field.

Specifications

Lens Mount Type

Leica L

Lens Category

Wide Angle Prime

Aperture Range

f/2.8

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0698/0753/8352/files/laowa-12mm-f-2-8-lite-zero-d-ff-leica-l-14-blade-aperture-manual-focus.jpg?v=1787861754
https://acstechnology.com.au/products/laowa-12mm-f-2-8-lite-zero-d-ff-leica-l-14-blade-aperture-manual-focus
