The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 25-50mm f/1.7 ASPH Zoom Lens is a micro-four-thirds mount lens with an angle of view of 47 to 24 degrees and a minimum focusing distance of 28cm.

It has an aperture with a range of F16 to F1.7 and a rounded diaphragm opening consisting of nine blades. Its optical composition includes one aspherical element, three ED elements, and an ultra-high-refractive index element among the 16 elements in 11 groups.
