The Blackmagic Design Quad 3G-SDI Mezzanine Card, a replacement daughter card crafted for the DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G PCIe board, boasts four BNC connectors that support 3G-SDI. These are split into two inputs and two outputs, working in harmony with the main board's four 12G-SDI connectors. Swapping the original HDMI/optical fibre output daughter card for this Quad 3G-SDI variant, users unlock the potential to input and output Quad 3G-SDI signals, a capability not offered by the main board in isolation. The card also facilitates the input of a 12G-SDI signal and its output as Quad 3G-SDI. Bear in mind, this card necessitates the 10.4.2 driver to function and only operates when linked to the compatible main board.
