The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR is a full-frame zoom lens for Nikon Z-mount cameras. It covers 24-200mm with built-in Vibration Reduction, which Nikon rates at 5.0 stops on FX-format cameras. Its maximum aperture ranges from f/4 to f/6.3.

Optical Design

The lens has 19 elements in 15 groups. Two are ED glass elements, two are aspherical, and one is an aspherical ED glass element. Nikon applies ARNEO Coat to the lens, which it says gives clear images with less ghost and flare.

Movie Shooting

Nikon says the lens offers quiet operation, focus-breathing reduction and subject tracking for movie work. The zoom ring and control ring operate smoothly, which Nikon says supports natural movie expression.

Build and Mount

The mount is aluminium alloy, and the body is designed to resist dust and drips. Nikon says the electromagnetic diaphragm gives accurate, stable aperture control during continuous shooting.
