The excellent optical design of the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens features special aspherical elements, which ensure crystal clear image quality throughout the zoom range. Complementing this impressive optical design is the superfast multi-focus system of the lens.

Due to this feature, the 24-700mm lens is capable of delivering a quick and precise performance that suits both stills and video requirements. Crafted for FX-format Z-mount mirrorless cameras, this product is quite a hit amongst photographers across the world. The simple, easy-to-understand layout adds to the popularity of this standard zoom, making it a perfect choice for beginners.

Top Three Reasons We Think You Will Love The Lens The lens construction is tough and durable and flaunts a dust-and-moisture resistant lens barrel. With this, you can use this lens model from Nikon anywhere, and everywhere you wish to, without worrying about tough or inclement shooting conditions. Thanks to the rounded, nine-blade diaphragm of this standard zoom lens, you now have a pleasing, out-of-focus image quality.

This attribute instantly enhances the quality of imagery and gives you the flexibility to carry out all your photographic experiments without bothering about the image quality. The integrated OLED lens information panel is a unique feature of this lens model. You can easily access, adjust and control key lens parameters such as focus distance, aperture setting and depth of field figures, in both low light and bright shooting conditions.

Sharp and True Imaging Without any doubt, this lens model has an impressive optical design. With four aspherical elements, the lens can cut down on spherical aberrations and distortions, thus delivering sharp imagery with accurate colour rendering. Additionally, you also have the two extra-low dispersion elements, which contribute to reducing colour fringing and chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range.

This further helps to deliver bright and vivid imagery. Each of these specified elements feature the ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coats, which contribute to cutting down the effects of ghosting, reflections and lens flare. While the former controls incidental light from a diagonal direction, the latter controls the same from the vertical direction.

This makes working with the lens in strong lighting and backlit conditions a whole lot easier. Fast Autofocus The two separate AF drive systems which form part of the multi-focus system of the lens, work in programmed coordination to deliver fast and accurate autofocusing throughout the zoom range. With the help of stepping motors, the autofocus performance is quiet and smooth, making the lens apt for both stills as well as video applications.

You also have the option of a full-time manual focus override, the functioning of which is further enhanced by the amazing internal focusing design. Our Expert’s Opinion With all the features the lens offers, it is indeed one of the best standard zoom lenses out there. Coming from Nikon, this lens has unmatchable attributes and can perform in all types of shooting conditions, delivering consistently impressive shots and videos.
