• The lens provides a fast and smooth experience through its stepping motor.

This full-frame 35mm lens from Nikon is best known for its versatility. It is wide enough for you to click stunning photos on the street, while at the same time letting you close in on your subjects to capture their portraits. A maximum aperture of f/1.8 means your pictures turn out to be sharp and bright.

Along with a Z mount, this lens includes a rear focusing system with both auto and manual focus. The lens barrel offers you resistance to dust and moisture under harsher conditions. Its nano crystal coating feature enables you to create superior-quality pictures.

Sharp and True Imaging

The excellent image producing capabilities of this lens can be attributed to the use of 11 elements in 9 groups. The three aspherical elements diminish any distortion or spherical aberrations, while the two ED elements minimise chromatic aberrations and colour fringing. Add to this the Super Integrated Nano-Crystal Coating, and you have a picture that has excellent clarity, accurate colour rendering, and sharp imagery with no ghosting or lens flares.

The lens has a minimum focus distance of 0.25 m (0.82 ft) and a fixed focal length of 35 mm. Its rounded nine-blade diaphragm encourages the use of selective focus techniques and a shallow depth of field that lends a charming out of focus quality to the pictures.

Fast Autofocus

One of the reasons why prime lenses are preferred over regular lenses is because they help capture photos much quicker than the rest. This Nikon lens, in particular, can achieve that through its high-quality stepping motor.

Whether you are taking a picture or shooting videos, the autofocus locks on to your subjects quietly and instantly. You can also use the manual override in case you want more control over your focusing. An internal focusing design is used, which assists the lens in maintaining the same length throughout and improves the focusing speed.
