The NiSi Air UV Filter is a 77mm threaded filter with 99.9% peak transmission and 0.1% reflectivity. It blocks UV light below 395nm and is designed for cameras and lenses above 100 megapixels.

Transmission and coating
The filter uses ULRC (Ultra Low Reflective Coating), which is NiSi's own development. Average transmission is 99.6% between 420nm and 680nm. The 48-layer nano coating resists scratches, stains, water and oil.
UV blocking
The filter blocks UV light below 395nm, which reduces blue haze. The filter element is made from optical glass.
Frame and testing
The ultra-thin frame is knurled brass. Brass is more durable and resists deformation better than aluminium, and the knurling makes the filter easier to mount and remove. The slim design prevents vignetting on ultra-wide-angle lenses. Each filter is tested for transmission and reflectivity on a Shimadzu spectrophotometer.
