Filter use
The ring lets you use 82mm threaded filters on a lens that takes a standard 77mm filter. With NiSi 100mm Holders V3, V5, V5 Pro, V6 and V7, it can replace the 77mm adaptor.
Build
The frame is brass alloy with a matte black finish, and the knurled sides make it easier to grip. The anti-reflective felt inside the frame minimises reflections, which suits long exposures. The design prevents binding and jamming, so it is easier to remove than a standard aluminium ring.
