The Samyang 12mm f/2 AF Ultra Wide-Angle Lens, designed specifically for APS-C format Canon RF-S-mount mirrorless cameras, merges a wide-angle perspective with a swift maximum aperture. This lens offers an 18mm focal length perspective, equivalent to a 35mm full-frame format. The lens structure integrates two extra-low dispersion elements and one aspherical element, enhancing clarity and sharpness by controlling aberrations and distortions. All lens elements are treated with Ultra Multi-Coating to minimise lens flare and ghosting, thereby boosting contrast and colour fidelity. The bright f/2 maximum aperture excels in challenging lighting conditions, offering superior control over depth of field and focus placement. The Linear STM autofocus motor ensures swift, silent focus. The lens also features a minimum focusing distance of 7.9" and an AF/manual focus selector switch.
