Preamp Gain and Bypass

The preamp is designed to keep the microphone's frequency response unchanged while adding gain. Sensitivity is -59.00 dBV/Pa in bypass mode, -41.00 dBV/Pa with the +18 dB boost and -31.00 dBV/Pa with the +28 dB boost.

Pickup and Hum Rejection

The cardioid pattern is symmetrical about the axis and rejects sound from the rear. The shielding is designed to reject broadband interference from computer monitors and other electrical devices.

Handling and Plosives

Air suspension isolation reduces mechanical noise transmission. The built-in pop filter removes the need for an add-on filter, including for close-up vocals and narration.
