Description
The Sigma EF-500 DG ST is an electronic flash with a guide number of 50 (ISO 100, in metres, at the 105mm head position). This PA-PTTL version is the Pentax fitting. The head zooms from 28mm to 105mm and the flash runs on four AA batteries.

Zoom and Wide Panel

Power and Recycling
The flash takes four AA alkaline, Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. Recycle time is about 6.0 seconds with alkaline batteries and about 4.0 seconds with Ni-Cd or Ni-MH. Sigma lists the weight as 320g.
