Build and mounting
The Slik 800 is a heavy-duty type ball head with a large quick release shoe for camera mounting and a rotating feature. It is 120mm high and weighs 760g. Load capacity: 5kgs.
The camera mounting screw and the tripod mounting screw are both U1/4. Slik notes a Good Design (G-Mark) award for this head.
Quick release plates
Replacement QR plate 6124 is a 1/4-20 inch screw plate for the SBH-800 and 808 ball heads. The SBH-808DQ, a sibling head, adds features such as panoramic markings.
